How Home Equity Loans Work

Members Heritage Home Equity Loans are secured by the equity in your property. Unlike a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC), which is a revolving line of credit (similar to a credit card), borrowers receive a fixed-rate lump sum on which they begin paying off both the principal and the interest right away, over a set term of months.

Closed-end one-time advance.
The minimum loan amount is $10,000.
Enjoy a fixed rate and no annual fee.
You’ll get easy access to your funds through your Share Draft (Checking) Account.
The property deed associated with this loan must be in your name, and the title must be clear.
The property must also be your primary residence.
