Two ways to protect your accounts

With Overdraft Protection through Members Heritage, you won’t have to worry if you accidentally overspent using your debit card or checkbook. Avoid overdraft fees and have peace of mind knowing your transactions are covered.

Members have two options for establishing Overdraft Protection:

1. Set up an overdraft protection loan with a $500 line of credit that can be used to back up your MHCU checking account so you won’t overdraw and incur an overdraft fee. Enjoy an open-ended term and a fixed rate.
    
2. Establish another account, such as a Regular Savings account, to back up your checking. Instead of overdrawing on your checking, funds will be automatically transferred from your savings to cover your transaction. Members are allowed one free transfer per month. Each subsequent transfer incurs a $4.00 fee.
